Technology giants Cisco and IBM have partnered to offer an integrated data centre solution -- VersaStack -- designed for cloud, big data and mobility applications.
VersaStack solution is designed to deliver high levels of efficiency and versatility for cloud, big data and analytics, and mobility deployments, Cisco Head Data Center Sales (India and SAARC) Ashok Shenoy told PTI.
Over time, the platform will be optimised for IBM business applications, while integrating Cisco innovations like Cisco's Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and Cisco Intercloud Fabric.

Accenture Helps Visa build connected car commerce POC * Consultancy major Accenture is working with Visa to develop a connected car proof-of-concept, which demonstrates customers ordering food from the car while on-the-go.
"This next phase of payments is being driven in large part by mobile technology and it involves many new players and innovative ways to shop, pay and get paid - including the car," Visa SVP Innovation and Strategic Partnerships Bill Gajda said.
Accenture developed the applications, integrated several technologies for extracting information from the car, and built the technical foundation for machine-to-machine commerce based on secure and seamless payment transactions.
