Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) has started its civil disobidence movement from today in the entire state pressing its demand for inplementation of inner line permit system in Manipur, said Kh Ratan, convenor JCILPS today.
Supporting JCILPS movement, Khonghampat Apunba Nupi Lup (KANL) a leading women organisation in Manipur's Imphal West district today made human chain along National Highway two at Khonghampat area protesting against Manipur government for non-implementation of inner line permit system and demanding action against police personnel for killing Sapam Robinhood, a student of class eleven during ILPS movement.
Women agitators of Thangmeiband area in Manipur's Imphal West district staged ssit-in protest today at Khuyathong bazar demanding implementation of inner line permit in Manipur,police said.
Yesterday, the titular king of Manipur Leishemba Sanajaoba led the sit-in-protest staged at the Royal Palace gate here demanding implementation of inner line permit system in the state. Overnment as well as people to bring a solution at the earliest.
