CJI, law minister to participate in St Petersburg conference

Chief Justice of India H L Dattu and Law Minister D V Sadananda Gowda will represent India in an international law conference being held in St Petersburg from Wednesday.

The conference, being attended by representatives from 45 countries, will discuss issues like international law, corporate laws, arbitration practices and environment protection.

Besides the two, senior officials from the Law Ministry including Law Secretary P K Malhotra are also attending the conference in Russia, official sources said here.
