Clariant Chemicals reports Rs 1.32 cr loss in Q2

Clariant Chemicals today reported a loss of Rs 1.32 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2014, due to fall in income.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 123.99 crore in the same quarter year ago.

Total income from operations during July-September quarter of the current financial year fell to Rs 256.07 crore from Rs 355.21 crore in the same quarter last year, the company said in a BSE filing.

Shares of the company closed at Rs 972.65 apiece, down by 0.25 per cent, on the BSE.
