A class 3rd student of a government school drowned in a rainy pond when he went out of the premises to relieve himself in Dausa district, with family and locals protesting and demanding action against the school administration for locking the toilet.

10-year-old Arvind drowned yesterday in the pond behind the government school in Bairown-Ki-Dhani area of the district, police said today.

Villagers held a protest outside the school this morning demanding suspension of teachers and action against the school administration which kept the urinal locked, due to which the boy had to go out to ease himself.

The villagers also did not allow doctors to perform autopsy of the boy demanding action against the school, police said.

However, later, they were persuaded.
