Clerk arrested for accepting bribe

A revenue clerk was arrested by an Anti-Corruption Team for allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 near here, police said today.

Mahendra Singh was arrested by the team led by DSP Prakash Kumar for taking the bribe from a farmer, they said.

The clerk had demanded the bribe from Parvesh for making a correction in the revenue record, they said.
