CM directs separate project for residual roads

Presiding over a high-level meeting to review progress of road construction under various schemes, he directed the department to prepare the separate project for residual roads not covered under any existing schemes like the Prime Minister Grameen Sadak Yojana and Chief Minister Grameen Sadak Yojana.

Kumar also asked the officials to ensure strict monitoring of the road projects under execution to ensure quality.

Earlier, Rural Works Secretary B Rajendra briefed him about the status of road projects being executed under various schemes, including PMGSY.
