Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today performed the ground breaking ceremony of the proposed two-storey annexe building next to the main building of the Vidhan Bhawan.
The new building will be constructed by the PWD with a cost of Rs 10.50 crore, an official release said.
The construction work will begin after the conclusion of the ongoing monsoon session of the state legislature.
The new structure will have offices of ministers, a canteen and other facilities.
The CM was accompanied by Legislative Assembly Speaker Haribhau Bagde and Council Chairman Ramraje Nimbalkar and others.
