An apex organisation of newspapers and news agencies employees today welcomed the Supreme Court verdict upholding recommendations of Majithia Wageboards for journalists and non-journalists.
The General Secretary of Confederation of Newspapers and News Agencies Employees Organisations (CNNAEO) M S Yadav said the apex court verdict should be honoured by all newspaper managements and it should be implemented keeping in mind welfare of the workers.
The apex court had dismissed the pleas filed by various newspaper managements challenging the validity of the Board's constitution and its recommendations.
