Cold wave conditions in Pb, Har; Narnaul coldest at 4.5 deg C

Punjab and Haryana today witnessed cold wave conditions as the minimum temperature dropped few notches below normal.
Narnaul in Haryana was the coldest with the minimum temperature of 4.5 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal, a MeT Department official said.
Hisar too had a cold night, recording a low at 7.2 degrees Celsius.

Karnal's minimum also settled at 7.2 degrees, two notches below normal, while Ambala recorded a low of 8.8 degrees Celsius.
The joint capital Chandigarh recorded a low of 8.9 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal limits, the MeT said.
In Punjab, the cold weather conditions prevailed in Ludhiana, which recorded a minimum temperature of 6.3 degrees Celsius.
Amritsar and Patiala recorded the minimum temperature of 8.6 degrees Celsius each, it added.
