Rains continued to lash parts of Haryana and Punjab as the maximum temperature hovered below normal limits for the third consecutive day today.
In Haryana, rains lashed Narnaul, Gurgaon, Hisar, Ambala among other places.
Ambala recorded a high of 33.4 degrees Celsius while Hisar's maximum temperature settled at 34.7 degrees Celsius, down two notches against normal, the MeT Department said here.

While Karnal registered a high of 32.4 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal, Chandigarh recorded a high of 33.7 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Ludhiana, Patiala, Ropar, Phagwara received rainfall.
Amritsar recorded a high of 32.9 degrees Celsius, down two notches while Ludhiana registered a maximum of 34.1 degrees Celsius.
Patiala's maximum settled a degree below normal at 33.2 degrees Celsius.
The MeT has forecast more rains in the two states over the next few days.
