College sends report on alleged ragging to VC

The Vice-Chancellor of Vidyasagar University today said he has got a report from Raja Narendra Lal Khan Women's College regarding the alleged ragging of a tribal girl by senior students.
Vice-Chancellor Ranjan Chakraborty said he has got the report of the college regarding the alleged ragging and he will forward it to the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the higher authorities.
A first-year physiology student quit Midnapore's Raja Narendra Lal Khan Women's College on August 4 and lodged complaints against two of her seniors alleging repeated harassment.
After the girl lodged the complaint state government arranged for her admission at the Jhargram Raj College.
