Concern for Calcutta carries out Swachh Bharat programme

Concern for Calcutta and Citizens, an NGO, today carried out Swachh Bharat programme near Vivekanand Park in the city today.

The NGO's president Narayan Jain said it was done in view of the upcoming Bengali New Year Poila Baisakh and appealed all to help in making Kolkata a better city.

"We cannot depend only on government efforts," he said.

Members of the NGO and local councillor Tista Biswas was present during the event.
