Concrete pieces fall off at Jafrabad Metro stn site, 1 injured

A minor incident took place here this evening at a metro construction site in northeast Delhi's Jafrabad area in which one person was injured.

"During concourse slab concreting at Jafrabad station, some loose concrete pieces fell down around 8 pm and a pedestrian suffered minor injuries.

"He was taken to GTB hospital and is reported to be out of danger," a Metro spokesperson said.

DCP (Northeast) R A Sanjeev said that it was a minor incident and no casualty was reported.
