Cong asks review of Goa coastal belt security

The Congress today asked the state government to review the security in the coastal belt of Goa to "avert attacks like Las Vegas".

State Congress unit president Shantaram Naik said the government should review the security of the entire coastal belt given the concentration of casinos frequented mainly by foreign tourists.

"I am very concerned regarding the safety of tourists visiting the casinos in the coastal belt. The government should review the security to avert Las Vegas like attacks," he demanded.
