Jammu and Kashmir unit of Congress today lauded the role of Army and state police for controlling the situation after the recent communal clashes here.
"We laud the Army's role in controlling the situation. It was only after their intervention the situation here was brought under control," Congress MLA Inderwal GM Saroori said here today.
He also appreciated the role of district and police authority's after the clashes and said, "We should understand that no one from outside will come to solve our problems, therefore there is a need for introspection and searching a solution for all the issues.
