Ruling Congress in Arunachal Pradesh has taken early lead in four assembly constituencies, while People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) is leading in two followed by BJP and an Independent in one seat each after the initial stage of counting today.
While Congress candidate Wangki Lowang is leading at Namsang constituency, party's nominee Kumar Waii is leading in Bameng, C T Mein in Chowkham and Gum Tayeng is leading in Dambuk constituency respectively.
Former Chief Minister and the longest serving CM Gegong Apang of the BJP is leading in Tuting Yingkion constituency.

PPA candidates Nikh Kamin and first timer Tsering Sonam are leading in Bordumsa-Diyun and Kalaktang assembly seats respectively.
First timer Independent candidate Theg Tse Rinpoche is leading at Lumla constituency, election office sources said.
Of the 60 assembly seats in the state, Congress has won 11 seats unopposed.
