"If at all there is a pending investigation and if at all the matter is subjudice, the proper place to make those arguments are before the designated agencies or approporiate court of law.
"We invariably refrain from commenting on matters which are under investigation," party spokesperson Manish Tewari told reporters here.
He was asked whether the minister's arrest has taken the sting out Congress' campaign against alleged corrruption of YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy who was today grilled by CBI in connection with the disproportionate assets (DA) case against him and has summoned him tomorrow as well.
It was in connection with the Vanpic project that Mopidevi was arrested yesterday. He, as the then Minister for Infrastructure, Investment and Ports under Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, was accused of doling out favours to the project promoter.
