Attributing good governance and performance on development front resulted in Modi's victory, Goswami said BJP has become synonymous to development in the country.
The outcome would certainly help BJP to regain power at the Centre, Goswami said claiming that a strong wave was sweeping across the country in favour of the party.
Asked whether the outcome of assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, where national parties BJP and Congress won respectively, would have any impact in Jharkhand, Goswami said it would have impact in the state as people wanted a single party majority government.
To a query whether BJP would prefer a mid-term poll in the state in view of the party's performance in Gujarat, BJP leader said "We are prepared for the election whenever it takes place."
Asked whether a mid-term election in Jharkhand was a possibility in view of the controversial statements by its coalition partners over 28-28 months rotation of power between BJP and JMM, Goswami said anything was possible in politics.
