Congress worker commits suicide

A Congress worker and former sarpanch today allegedly shot himself dead near here, police said.

The incident took place at Garhshankar town, 40 km from here, and the deceased has been identified as Tajinder Singh Ladoo of village Kukran.

Ladoo was depressed over some land deal issue, police said.
