Copper prices inched up by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today owing to pick up in demand from consuming industries amid a firm global cues.
Traders said, besides pick up in demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market, firm trend overseas kept copper prices higher.
Globally, copper for delivery in three months jumped 3.5 per cent to USD 5,601 per tonne at the London Metal Exchange.

Lead ingot Rs 91, lead imported Rs 97, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148.
