Copra Rajapur prices continued to surge ahead for the third straight day at the spices market here due to consistent stockists demand amid supply squeeze.
Meanwhile, copra edible plummeted on the back of heavy unwinding from speculative traders.
Elsewhere, black pepper, ginger, copra Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode all maintained a steady trend owing to lack of buying support.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai shot up by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 16,500 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 16,000.
Copra edible Mumbai, however tumbled by a whopping Rs 1,250 per quintal to Rs 11,250 as compared to Rs 12,500.
