Copra Rajapur firms up sustained demand

Copra Rajapur prices firmed up further at the spices market here today due to sustained demand from stockists and retailers amid firm export enquiries.

Meanwhile, copra office Alapuzha declined further following subdued demand from exporters and upcountry advices.

Rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any major buying.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai strengthened by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 18,300 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 18,000.

However, copra office Alapuzha dropped by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 10,300 as against Rs 10,500 yesterday.

Black pepper (per kg) 765/815 (765/815), ginger bleached (per kg) 320 (320), ginger unbleached (per kg) 340 (340), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 10,300 (10,500), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 10,300 (10,300), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 18,300 (18,000), Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 13,000 (13,000).
