The jury in Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial said today they were deadlocked and unable to reach a verdict, but the judge instructed them to continue deliberations.
The 12-member panel announced their stalemate on day four of their deliberations in Norristown, Pennsylvania. The case is one of America's biggest celebrity trials in years.
The 79-year-old pioneering black actor could face the rest of his life in prison if convicted on three counts of aggravated indecent assault for allegedly drugging and molesting a woman at his Philadelphia home in January 2004.
