Couple among four killed in road mishap

Four persons, including a couple were killed and eight others injured when a jeep plunged into a pit after colliding with a truck in Asmauli area, a police spokesman said here.

Yameen (36), his wife Raunak (33), Farha (26) and Bilal (15) were killed when the jeep in which they were travelling plunged into the pit after colliding with the truck near Matipur village last night, he said.

The injured have been admitted in hospitals situated in Sambhal and Moradabad.
