Couple get life term for killing relative over property

A man and his wife were today awarded life imprisonment by a local court here for murdering his brother over a property dispute seven years ago.

Additional District Judge Anil Kumar Vashisth awarded life sentence to Om Prakash and his wife Babli for killing Gyan Prakash in 2007 at Kelhua village in Payagpur village.

The incident was a fallout of a property dispute.

The court also imposed fine of Rs 20,000 each on both the convicts.
