A local court has directed the police to lodge an FIR in connection with the alleged abduction of a 25-year-old man from Aliganj.
Akhilesh was allegedly abducted from his house on March 10. An FIR in this connection was lodged with the police against Shankar and Mohini yesterday, Station officer Aliganj Mukesh Kumar said.
Akhilesh's father has alleged that police had refused to lodge an FIR following which he approached the court.
No arrest has been made so far in this connection, police said.
