CPI(M) local leader held

CPI(M) was arrested in West Midnapore district today in connection with the killing of Trinamool Congress worker in 2010, the police said.

Gauranga Mahto, a resident of Dakhin Shole village under Salboni police station, was arrested from Midnapore bus stand.

He was suspected to be involved in the killing Trinamool Congress worker Dhanapati Mahto at Salboni in 2010, the sources said.
