Crime Branch arrests 25-year-old man

Crime Branch has arrested a 25-year-old man for alleged involvement in three cases of robbery and was on the run since November 13, 2014.

The accused identified as Rajesh (25), a resident of Baprola, Ranhola also carried a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head. He was previously involved in 9 criminal cases.

Police received a tip off about Rajesh coming to Subzi Mandi in Malka Ganj to meet one of his associates yesterday following which a trap was laid in front of Hans Raj College Hostel and he was arrested.

On November 13, 2014 some unidentified men had robbed a person of cash and one mobile in Baprola. The same gang thereafter burgled two houses following which three cases were registered at Ranhola police station.
 

One accused Vipin was arrested in the cases and he had disclosed about involvement of his accomplices Rajesh and Manoj in all the cases.
