Crime Branch to probe rape complaint against self-styled godman

The Crime Branch of Police will take over the probe into the complaint of a 25-year-old woman that she was raped by a self-styled and his disciples on several occasions, the police said today.

The woman filed a complaint against Daati Maharaj, a self-styled godman, at the station in south on Sunday. The case was transferred from the district police to the Crime Branch today, they added.
