CRPF Jawan injured in gunbattle with Maoists

A CRPF jawan was injured during a gunbattle with ultras of the CPI (Maoist) in the forests of Bokaro district today.

According to CRPF (26th Battalion) Commandant Sanjay Kumar, the encounter took place near Tulbul village during a long range patrolling at Jhumra Hills under Gomia police station of the district.

He saida jawan suffered injuries in the encounter.

Bokaro is under Giridih Lok Sabha seat where polling is underway.
