CRRC to stage rail rokos for a week from May 15
The Cauvery Rights Retrieval Committee today said it would stage rail rokos for a week from May 15 to press their various demands.
The protest will be held from May 15-22, CRRC coordinator P Maniarasan told reporters.
The rail roko would be held in Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Tiruchirappalli and Cuddalore districts.
Their demands include constitution of the Cauvery Management Board immediately and increasing drought relief besides waiver of farm loans.
