Amid a pickup in domestic demand and tight supplies from producing belts, crude palm oil prices rose 0.24 per cent to Rs 450.60 per 10 kg in futures trade today.

At Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in July edged up by Rs 1.10, or 0.24 per cent to Rs 450.60 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 113 lots.

The oil for delivery in June contracts gained 90 paise, or 0.20 per cent to Rs 451.20 per 10 kg in 56 lots.

Analysts said besides a pickup in demand at the spot market, tight supplies on restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly led to rise in crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
