Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil futures eased by 0.97 per cent to Rs 455.50 per 10 kg today as speculators trimmed their holding triggered by weak trend in spot markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in October eased by Rs 4.50, or 0.97 per cent, to Rs 455.50 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 215 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in November fell by Rs 1.10, or 0.24 per cent, to Rs 455.60 per 10 kg in 201 lots.

Traders said offloading of positions by participants due to a weak trend at spot markets following comfortable stocks position, mainly led to a fall in crude palm oil futures prices.
