Das takes oath as Assam's CIC
Himangshu Sekhar Das was today sworn in as Assam's Chief Information Commissioner by Governor Governor Janaki Ballabh Patnaik.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended, among others, by Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, Chief Secretary, Jitesh Khosla and senior Government officials.
Das, an IAS officer of 1982 batch, retired recently as the state's Additional Chief Secretary.
