"Will & Grace" star Debra Messing was honoured at the 28th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, which goes to those who serve as an advocate of the LGBT community and further the movement for acceptance and equality.
The 48-year-old actress received the GLAAD Excellence in Media Award, whose past past winners include Tyra Banks, Kelly Ripa and Robert De Niro, reported Entertainment Weekly.
TV host and comedian Trevor Noah's "The Daily Show" won outstanding talk show episode award for "Angelica Ross".
