The Madras High Court today cleared the decks for the release of Tamil actor Simbu's new film "Anbanavan, Asarathavan, Adangathavan," disposing of a plea to stop its screening.

Justice V Parthiban turned down the plea of one M Ramesh seeking a direction to restrain the movie producers of the movie, Global Infotainment Pvt Limited, from handing over the film to the theatres.

The matter relates to a civil suit filed by Ramesh claiming that producer of the film Mickael Rayappan owed him Rs 25 lakh.

With the film set to hit screens on June 26, Ramesh filed an application seeking an interim direction to restrain the producer from releasing the film till the dues were settled.

When the matter came up today, Rayappan filed an affidavit stating that he would furnish a bank guarantee for Rs 25 lakhs.

Recording Rayappan's undertakimng, the judge directed the producer to furnish the guarantee before June 30 and disposed the application.
