A decomposed body of a middle-aged man was found in a mysterious circumstances in a house in Aman Vihar area of outer Delhi, police said today.
The body was identified as that of Ravi Kumar, 39, and prima facie it appeared to be a case of murder. The exact cause of death will be known after post mortem report is received, said a police officer.
Ravi, who belonged to UP, used to live alone in his house at Vinay Enclave of Prem Nagar, Part III. He was seen by neighbours a few days ago, who informed police when a foul smell emanated from his house today, he said.
Police had to break open the door of the room where the body was found in advanced stage of decay. The room was locked from inside.
