Defunct-cash exchange gang nabbed, Rs.2.4 lakh seized
A five-member gang was arrested for running a demonitised note exchanging racket for new currencies at Gajulamandyam, about 20 km from here, today.
Police said a total of Rs 2.4 lakh, including 81 Rs 2000 notes and rest in Rs 100 and a vehicle were recovered from their possession.
