The 13-member Pakistani delegation, led by Deputy Leader of Senate Sabir Ali Baloch, arrived here today afternoon. These MPs will have discussions with their Indian counterparts tomorrow.

"Confidence building measures and the trust deficit affecting relations between India and Pakistan are likely to figure in the interchange between MPs of the two countries," sources said.

A team of 59 Indian MPs, led by BJP leader and former External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha, will interact with the Pakistan MPs. The Indian team will also include Mani Shankar Aiyar and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.

The Indian MPs are said to be keen on broaching the subject of growing trust deficit between the two neighbours. The issue of alleged involvement of some Pakistani elements in rumour mongering through the social media that led to the recent violence in Mumbai during a protest demonstration may also come up, sources said.

The delegation will also call on Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar tomorrow afternoon.

It will visit Patna on August 25 at the invitation of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
