Delhi Police constable killed in road accident

A Delhi Police constable was today killed in a road accident near the Auchandi border.

The deceased, Ravindra Dahiya (29), was on his way to Connaught Place this morning when his car met with an accident, police said.

A seriously injured Dahiya was rescued from his car which was found in a damaged condition on the road connecting the Auchandi border and Bawana, they added.

Dahiya was rushed to a hospital where he died during treatment, police said.

The deceased was posted at the Bawana circle but today, he was supposed to report to work at the Connaught Place circle.
 

Police are investigating the matter.
