Devotees mark Maghi festival

Devotees also took a dip at the water pond located in Gurudwara Sri Muktsar Sahib, Gurudwara Godari Sahib (Faridkot) and in Takhtpura where three Sikh gurus -- Guru Nanak Dev, Guru Hargobind and Guru Gobind Singh had paid a visit.

'Maghi Mela' is celebrated in the memory of 40 Sikh soldiers who sacrificed their lives while fighting against the Mughals.
