Dhaba owner ordered jail for selling spurious liquor

Judicial Magistrate-I Santosh Kumar Gupta also slapped a fine of Rs 2500 on him under provisions of the Excise Act.

The excise team had raided the dhaba on Exhibition Road on July 26, 2006 and recovered 4700 litres of illicit liqour of foreign brand and 101.40 litre illicit country-made liqour from it.
