DMK chief greets Sonia Gandhi

DMK president M Karunanidhi today greeted Congress president Sonia Gandhi on her birthday, praising her capacity to "face politics at tough times."

"Lauding your ability to keep Congress, which is a large movement, afloat in tough times and your ability to face politics, I also wish you all the best in your endeavours," he said in a statement here.

He extended his greetings to Gandhi, who turned 68 today, on behalf of DMK.
