After Chief Minister Jayalalithaa completed her suo moto statement on steps to tackle human-wildlife conflicts, DMK Floor Leader M K Stalin sought the permission of Speaker P Dhanapal to raise issues.
As the Speaker told him that he would be given opportunity later, the DMK members staged a walk out.

This is the third straight day the DMK members are staging a walk out in the assembly.
"We tried to raise questions on the report of Justice R Regupathi Commission on the Moulivakkam building issue. However, we were not given the opportunity and hence we walked out," Stalin told reporters outside the assembly.
The report of the commission was tabled in the assembly on August 25.
Congress member Vijayadharani and Puthiya Tamilagam member K Krishnaswamy too walked out of the assembly citing similar reason. They told reporters that they could not raise the issue involving the arrest of students who were allegedly involved in a protest against liquor outlets.
