Dolly Parton to feature in Forever Country track

Dolly Parton, George Strait, and Carrie Underwood are among the 30 all-stars who have joined forces to celebrate the upcoming 50th annual CMA Awards.

Organisers behind the Country Music Association ceremony have been teasing a project titled Forever Country over the past few weeks, releasing daily short clips of country music stars covering classic songs, reported Contactmusic.

Strait sang a singular line from John Denver's "Country Roads" in one black and white clip, while Carrie tackled lyrics from Parton's iconic "I Will Always Love You", which the "Jolene" star also sings in her own teaser clip.

The Forever Country track music video is set to premiere on September 20.
