: Four kg of gold has been seized by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officials from four passengers coming from different countries.
The seizures were made in five different cases after a series of interceptions on January 23 unearthed different modus operandi used by the passengers, a DRI release said.
A total of 4.083 kg gold, the market value of which is around Rs 1.66 crore, was recovered during the operation, it said
Three of the accused were allegedly carrying the gold in capsule form concealing it in their rectums, the release said.
