Drug peddlers nabbed in Chandigarh

Chandigarh Police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 35 grams of heroin from their possession.

The accused were identified as Vikas, a resident of Chandigarh and Sonu Goyal, a resident of Mohali, police said in a release here.

They were arrested from the road dividing Sector-44 and 45 here, it said.

During checking, 25.14 grams of heroin was recovered from Vikas and 10.14 grams from Sonu. A case under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered against them, police said.
