Drunk man kills wife in Faridabad

A 40-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband after an altercation, police said today.

"Sudesh killed his wife Anita on Tuesday evening after he asked her to serve food. When Anita refused, he got angry and stabbed her with a knife," said Yakub Khan, station incharge.

"Sudesh is an alcoholic, he would often beat his wife after getting drunk, even the neighbours were irritated with his behaviour" he added.

A complaint has been registered against the accused, police said.
