Barring light rains at a few places, the weather remained dry in most parts of Himachal Pradesh for the fourth day today.
The monsoon which hit the state on July 1, remained active for two days but it has weakened considerable during the past four days with "no rains or scanty rains" at isolated places.
The farmers, who have sown the paddy crop, are worried as the MeT office has predicted dry weather in the state for the next four days.
The people in lower and foothills reeled under "hot and humid" conditions even as there was no significant change in minimum and maximum temperatures.
Nahan, Khadrala and Manali recorded 18-mm, 5-mm and 3-mm of rains, respectively, but the weather remained dry in rest of the state.
Una was hottest in the region with a maximum temperature of 38.3 degrees Celsius, while Sundernagar and Bhuntar recorded a high of 34.2 degrees, followed by Kangra 34.0, Dharamsala 31.8, Solan 30.7, Nahan 29.8, Shimla 26.6, Manali 26 and Kalpa 25.8 degrees.
Keylong in tribal Lahaul and Spiti district was coldest in the region with a minimum temperature of 10.4 degrees, while the key tourist resort of Manali recorded a low of 11.0 degrees, followed by Kalpa 13.0, Shimla 16.6, Solan and Nahan 18.0, Palampur 19.5, Sundernagar 20.2, Bhuntar 20.5, Dharamsala 20.8 and Una 21.5 degrees Celsius.
